# An inventory that is also evidence.

A schedule of assets says what should be there. A sealed capture shows what was there, where it was, and what condition it was in.

Talk to the Vault Concierge

In short

In short: HomeCloneVault documents the physical condition and location of property features and contents across a managed estate. The result is a sealed, owner-controlled baseline that can be shared through revocable view-only links and refreshed after material changes.

## How does a sealed record support estate oversight?

An estate schedule may identify what should exist, while a HomeCloneVault capture records what the professional team documented at the property on a particular date. The package can preserve interior geometry, exterior and roof imagery, calibrated moisture readings, GPS-tagged photographs, and the custody information that connects those materials to the visit. The raw files and verification proofs remain under client control.

For a family office or estate manager, the value is a consistent documentation method rather than a claim about appraisal or ownership. HomeCloneVault does not value art, wine, furnishings, improvements, or real estate, and it does not decide legal title. It records physical condition and location within the defined capture scope so the client's advisers can work from the same dated baseline.

### How can the record be governed across an estate?

- Define which properties, rooms, features, and documented contents belong in each capture scope.

- Preserve each property's raw record, custody log, attestation, and public-ledger proofs as one package.

- Grant revocable view-only access only to the advisers or professionals authorized by the client.

- Record material renovations or changes with a fresh capture instead of editing the earlier sealed baseline.

- Maintain the dated records separately so the history remains a sequence of independently verifiable states.

This approach also avoids making the portal the sole point of trust. The portal organizes access, but the SHA-256 hashes and public blockchain anchors can be checked independently. If a copy changes, its hash changes; the mismatch reveals that the copy is not the file described by the sealed record.

Multi-property requirements are discussed through a founder-led pilot conversation, which is where portfolio figures are set rather than from a public rate card. The service continues to exclude inspection opinions, policy interpretation, claim valuation, carrier negotiation, and legal advice.

The same capture protocol can create comparable categories of documentation without claiming that every residence or managed asset is identical. Each property retains its own scope, raw files, custody trail, attestation, and verification proofs. The family office can organize access across the portfolio while the underlying records remain separate, dated, and independently checkable.

Because interior scans can reveal sensitive details about a private property, access control is part of the operating model. Clients own the data, choose who receives a link, and can revoke that viewing access. Capture information is not reused for marketing without separate written consent, and the public site does not present stock imagery as client work.

## Key terms

**Estate baseline**
A dated physical record spanning a managed property and its documented contents or features.

**Portfolio record**
Consistently structured capture information maintained across multiple properties.

**Refresh capture**
A new capture performed after material changes so the current record does not rely on an aging baseline.

Quick answer

HomeCloneVault documents residences and their contents — art, wine cellars, custom builds, and integrated systems — as measured 3D geometry with GPS-tagged photography, sealed to public blockchains. The result is a dated, tamper-evident record usable with insurers, law enforcement, and in estate proceedings.

## Beyond the insurance schedule

Family offices already maintain schedules, appraisals, and coverage. What those instruments do not produce is proof of physical reality: that a specific painting hung on a specific wall, that a cellar held what the inventory says it held, that a custom installation existed in the condition claimed.

That gap surfaces at the least convenient moments — after a theft, after water reaches a cellar, when an estate passes between generations and nobody living can attest to what a room contained. For stolen art specifically, a dated visual record is what makes a listing with the [FBI's National Stolen Art File](https://www.fbi.gov/investigate/violent-crime/art-theft) actionable.

### Collections in place

Art and objects documented within the measured geometry of the rooms they occupy, not as isolated photographs.

### Cellars and specialty spaces

Wine cellars, vaults, and climate-controlled rooms recorded in full, including the systems that protect them.

### Multi-property portfolios

Consistent documentation across residences, so every property in the family's holdings carries the same standard of record.

### Succession and administration

A dated record that outlives the people who remember what was in the house.

## What gets documented

| Residences | Full interior LiDAR geometry, room by room |
| --- | --- |
| Collections | Art and objects recorded in place, within the room geometry |
| Specialty spaces | Wine cellars, vaults, and climate-controlled rooms |
| Exterior | Drone capture of roof, elevations, and grounds, including thermal |
| Access control | View-only, tokenized, expiring, revocable, fully logged |
| Ownership | The client owns the data — raw files and proofs are downloadable |

## Privacy is part of the product

Interior documentation of a private residence is sensitive personal data. Access is view-only, tokenized, expiring, revocable, and fully logged; client property imagery is never reused for marketing without separate written consent; and the client owns the underlying data with no lock-in.

## Frequently asked questions

### How is this different from a scheduled personal property appraisal?

An appraisal establishes value at a point in time; it does not establish presence, placement, or condition in a way that survives a dispute. A sealed capture records the physical reality — the object in the room, in the state it was in, on a date that can be independently verified — and complements the appraisal rather than replacing it.

### Who can access documentation of a private residence?

Access is view-only and tokenized, with expiring and revocable links and full access logging. Interior documentation of a private residence is sensitive material and is treated that way: it is not reused for marketing without separate written consent.

### Is this useful in estate proceedings?

A dated, tamper-evident record of what was present in a residence and in what condition can be materially useful when an estate is administered, particularly across multiple properties or where beneficiaries are geographically dispersed. Your counsel advises on its role in any specific proceeding.
