HomeCloneVault started as a documentation idea. The AI fraud wave turned it into infrastructure.

Key terms

Forensic documentation
A documented capture process built around provenance, integrity, and independent verification.
Pre-launch
The operating stage before the targeted January 2027 Southwest Florida launch.
Field team
The trained two-person capture unit supported by FAA Part 107 licensed aerial pilots.

Quick answer

HomeCloneVault is a pre-launch forensic property documentation company targeting a January 2027 launch in Southwest Florida, led by Alex Greenwood (Founder & CEO, a 17-year Southwest Florida real estate operator), William DeVito (Co-Founder & CTO, technology platform) and Emerson Burris (Co-Founder & President, operations and partnerships).

Why this exists

Property insurance disputes have always been adversarial, and they have always been resolved in favour of whoever had better documentation. That was a stable, if frustrating, equilibrium.

Generative AI broke it. When 99% of insurers say they have encountered manipulated or AI-altered documentation and only 32% say they are very confident they could identify a deepfake (Verisk State of Insurance Fraud study, March 2026) — against roughly $45B in annual U.S. property and casualty fraud, per the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud (2022) — the entire category of post-loss evidence becomes suspect — including the honest majority of it. Owners acting in complete good faith now carry the cost of a problem created by people who are not.

The only documentation that escapes that suspicion is documentation created before there was anything to gain from faking it, and sealed in a way that proves when it was created. That is the whole thesis, and everything in the architecture follows from it.

The team

Alex Greenwood

Founder & CEO

A 17-year Southwest Florida real estate operator and investor under Greenwood Management LLC who has personally ordered thousands of property inspections. That operating history shaped every technical and operational decision in the architecture — it is the reason the process is built around the arguments that actually get made, rather than around the technology that happens to be available.

William DeVito

Co-Founder & CTO

Technology co-founder. Fifteen years building software and AI systems, and founder of My Local Everything, where he has shipped more than ninety production websites and hundreds of AI agents. Owns the HomeCloneVault platform, the Vault Concierge, and the data pipeline behind the sealed record.

Emerson Burris

Co-Founder & President

Technical co-founder owning all engineering execution: the client portal, API integrations, OriginStamp connectivity, and the field operations stack. Responsible for the point-cloud export architecture and for maintaining chain-of-custody integrity end to end across the pipeline.
